April Sketch layout for Hambly

I know I'm late to the party, but I still wanted to create a layout using this month's fun April sketch! You still have time to play along as well! Stop over to their blog for the details. I absolutely LOVE what the other girls have put together!
Hambly Supplies: Herringbone Overlay in Antique Teal, Diagonal Alley Overlay in Golden Yellow, Woodgrain Remix Overlay in Pink, Pennants and Banners Lime, Pink Chevron on Silver PaperMini Overlays Journal Cards, On Edge Border Stickers, Vintage Journal Spots. Other Supplies: Amy Tan Fabric Brads, Black Journal Thickers, Sadie's Story Patterned Paper, Random Buttons from American Crafts, paper doily from Wilton, acrylic paint, and ink from Ranger.

I've got a few little bits from the Amy Tangerine line  from American Crafts in here again - once you pick it up, it's addicting! Also notice that I applied a wash to my entire background. It's just plain, white cardstock that I brushed with a diluted acrylic paint. I journaled a bit about how I'm always reaching higher - that sometimes that's a really good feeling, and other times... not so much. You have to be careful to balance your accomplishments with that push, or it can be easy to get discouraged.

Happy Tuesday! And wow - unbelievable! It's the first of May? Hello! Where is the time going?
