My last post...

...for SBG. I decided, after trying to keep up for the last month, and feeling rather overwhelmed, that it wasn't fun to have to rush to create things constantly - and the only things I've been creating were to meet requirements for teams that I was a part of. :P So, I decided to leave room for others to join, create and inspire others with their products...

If you'd like to see what I wrote about this layout, and how it was made, you can read here. There's a little bit of background on the "through the viewfinder" overlays.  {I'm so loving that trend in photography - you can search on flickr and see TONS of photos...}And also a credit that this was a lift of a layout in a recent magazine that I received in the mail. ;-)

And besides - I've been missing my paper lately. I've been so busy trying to keep up with my digi teams, that my paper has been neglected. Which means it's been piling up. lol That's not to say I won't miss those teams - I'm just giving myself permission to not have to be superwoman all the time. And I don't want to give up the cookie baking, finger-painting, and trips to the pool and park so I can get things done for my teams. Just a priority check. ;)

In other news, I've updated my sidebar. :D Some new stuff under the artists that inspire me. I've had these blogs for a while, and just needed to update. I'm really mad at myself that I can't find debbie campos' blog back. When I do, I'll add it. It's in my bookmarks somewhere! These are people that inspire me, and make me want to reach for my scissors and either scrap or sew... I still haven't gotten around to adding my friends back on over there. Pfft. I think I mentioned before that I was trying to update them with new links one day, and poof! I got an error message when I went to save. So much for that! I love technology... {mumble, mumble}

So, with all of my re-shuffling, I'm hoping to have more time to explore new things, and push my creativity! Not only that - it'll be nice not to have too much pressure over the summer! Whew! Have I mentioned that I'm ready for school to be done?! Ha!

Hope everyone's having an excellent week!

Leah...take a deep breath...and listen to the lyrics to "Vienna"" by Billy Joel (it's on my playlist)
It speaks volumns to me when I get like that!

I hear ya loud and clear on rushing to create. So happy for you that you are freeing up some time. :) Love this layout too - such a great idea!
