June kit from The Paper Niche

I enjoyed working with the June kit from The Paper Niche this month! It was definitely a change of pace for me, since I'm a bright color kind of girl! HeeHee!

A lot of the stuff in the kit is sort of love themed, so I had a chance to scrap some pics of myself and hubby. ^_^ {It was hard for me to pull this picture out - I've lost a quite a bit of weight since, and it's tough to look back and those "before" pics!}

In, fact, though this photo is later, we actually look younger since we both lost weight! We saw so many 3D movies already this year that I had to snap a photo of us in our glasses, right?

And finally - my favorite layout of the bunch. This is my favorite color right now. And a subject that is really near a nd dear to my heart. Something I've always thought lots about from my very young days. Every day that the oil well gushes in the gulf, my heart hurts. Our youngest son asks about going to the beach, and I'm just not sure what to tell him...

I added crackle to the chipboard pieces for some extra texture. The main photo is off of our balcony - and the view I have from my scrapbooking space... and of course, the smaller photo is D - holding a baby toy we came across one day at the store...
