projects on the horizon

I must admit - I don't often get swept away by a concept/product or idea and just rush to make it. I tend to roll things over in my mind and think about how to make them mine. Honestly, this time wasn't that much of an exception - I was just able to figure out the mine part fairly quickly. I adore this look. So on my way home last evening I ran by the fabric store and grabbed the supplies. I may be back for more of the making it mine part, but at least I've got the starters! As I'm looking at the tutorial, I'm thinking of a way to make it a bit easier, so if I find it, I'll be sure to share when I put it together!

As summer nears, I always look for outfits that are easy to put together and cool. Of course you know I'm a busy mommy, so being able to throw on a cute t-shirt with a cotton skirt and platform sandals makes my life way easier! Add a touch of handmade accessories - and you're golden.
