One of the things I've been up to behind to scenes for a very long time is getting this together! Yes - I know I've mentioned things off and on, in little bits for a long time, but I'm finally realizing a dream - starting my own handmade business!
And to be completely clear - this isn't just me starting up an Etsy shoppe. It's the beginning of something far bigger. This is an official business name and llc business structure with both short and long term business plans - and I am totally excited!
In the upcoming month, I'll be launching my first release of products so be looking out for those! I'll be doing giveaways - both here and with other blogging friends.
If you're an Etsy shop owner and are interested in doing a cross promotion for my grand opening month, I'd LOVE to hear from you! If you're not sure what a cross promotion is, it's essentially a giveaway exchange that would happen between you and myself. I would post your product giveaway on my blog along with a link to your shop, and you would post my giveaway on your blog with a link to my shoppe! That way, both of our shops and products are reaching a different audience. It's a really fun way to boost your shop sales and exposure. To be most effective, the shops must have a similar style and target audience to my own!
Right now, I'm sort of writing my company manifesto. So I've been thinking a lot about what it all means to me. This is my inspiration:
Every time I read it my heart swells. And it's so empowering. This is a strong, capable, creative, kind, loving, beautiful, self-assured, wise woman - and she's my aspiration. PS.
