the week so far in instagrams

I love how Instagram is making it's way into the scrapbooking community at large... It's such a handy way to document your daily life since your phone is always at hand - and the filters just make it that much more fun. I've been using it for ages. In fact, I have quite a few layouts that feature photos that I've taken with the instagram app on my iphone...

The quality of the photos will never, ever be what my dslr offers, but - it's really on par with a point and shoot - and so much easier to grab. If you're going to be real about documenting your life, you have to be practical, and not just go for the really awesome photos... though you know I love my dslr!

And I've very excited to have been invited to do a multigenerational photoshoot this upcoming weekend! I love, love having the opportunity to build my portfolio little by little... I really do have a goal of being a professional in the future, and not just a hobbyist.
