fresh flowers, fresh bread, sneak peeks & a give away!

Hubby surprised me with these when I opened the door last night! Whew! Pink isn't normally my color, but these are GORGEOUS. :)
On the way home from soccer this morning, we stopped and grabbed a loaf of fresh bread from the Jamaican bakery! I baked a black cake today, and needed it, but we got to eat most of it! HeeHee... It's pretty cool here today, and the fresh, warm bread was such a treat!
Spent most of my afternoon in the kitchen... then iced cookies while a tire-less Mater supervised. I actually had help for a bit, but that didn't last long!

Sneak peeks of what I'm up to this weekend! Working with the February kit from The Paper Niche...

A sneaky peek of a new mini kit to release for Monday...
And in honor of the lovey holiday approaching, I'm going to give away a set of these:

Just leave a comment on this blog post telling me one craftsy thing you'd love to learn this year!

Comments for the giveaway will be open until Tuesday, February 16 {our anniversary}. Once the winner is chosen, I'll contact you, and you can tell me what initials you'd like on your knitted hearts! And no worries if you're single! You could just use your first and last initial! :D

I just LOVE those!! One thing I want to learn is making a huge variety of paper flowers. I made the one that Tim Holtz does (my friend Dana Gustafson has it on her blog) and I want to do the one that my friend Sunghee does with the scalloped punch. I'll link you up some time!

I know how to knit using a loom but not knitting needles-that would be cool. Love your blog - you really are a crafty girl at heart.

We love Mater here too! I would love to sew something other than the pillow case I sewed at my intro class!

okay have to enter for those, they are my colors after all! 1 thing I want to learn this year... that's hard craft- hmmm maybe how to design. I've dabbed but nothing like you do! But truly I wanna try to make more home decor pieces! I love going to the Korean bakeries-that bread reminds me I need to walk up there tomorrow! And I think we have the same mater!

Hi Leah! Your crafts continue to amaze me. I have to try for these - they're too cute. Let's see... I have often thought it would be fun to learn to knit. I have crocheted before, but I don't know how to knit. Seeing all of your fun crafts is inspiring me to give it a try soon. Happy Valentine's Day and happy Anniversary!
