Well, see, here's my excuse. I started ignoring it when I was pregnant with our youngest, 'cause I was so sick. then when he arrived, I had no time. And by the time we got past that, well, it had just blown out of proportion, and I automatically knew it would be a huge task, so I just avoided it. When I finally tackled it yesterday, I ended up with something like 12 bags of shredded paper for the recycle bin. {not all pictured - lol}
It sucked.
But now... I have a clean slate. And a clean cupboard.
and that's utterly refreshing.
and moving forward, it'll be easy to keep up with. Now that I've put myself through this little experience - I will never let it happen again.
There. Now you have it. I occasionally avoid stuff, too. But this is the summer that I get rid of all of those little things that tickle at the back of my mind, and just do what I have to do. You see, I have big plans. And I just don't want the little things in life to get in the way.
One other interesting discovery this week. This gorgeous, yummy, healthy fruit...
makes me violently ill. {It really hasn't been my week. Sorry.}
On a happier note:
took the boys out for bike rides yesterday and helped D learn how to ride his new two wheeler! Eeps! He's growing up, and I'm so proud. :)
So, happy hump day, in a week mixed with lots of good, bad, tough and refreshing...
stop by tomorrow for my sneak peeks of the September kit from The Paper Niche, and later this week I'll post the first part of my tuxedo t-shirt DIY!
