vacation photos: market

Slowly, slowly, I'll be working on getting these photos edited and posted. Today is the final day of hubby's vacation, so we are slipping and sliding back into "normal" mode. It's been so nice, and I'm so, so happy that he especially was able to have the time to relax...

On Saturday, my mom & I went to the local farmer's market. Sooooo lovely. One cool thing - I didn't feel self conscious taking photos at all - I had one of the smaller camera's on straps running around there! It's a really picturesque spot, and there is a local private college with a great arts program {yes, I interviewed, and they wanted me. ^_^ Still didn't happen. Wasn't meant to be. ;)}, so that could explain it a bit! The people pretty much ignored the camera's and went about their business. Cool beans.

I bought flowers from a very elderly lady. She was there with her daughter, and I'm sure this was her spending money. ^_^ I bought zinnia's because my grandmother planted them in her garden every summer...

Got some big, juicy heirloom tomatoes at this booth. YUM.

The downtown area is nestled between the craggy bluffs and the river. Makes for gorgeous photos...

From a local organic farm. There are some really great growers locally that really believe in what they do!

Hope you're enjoying your weekend! I'm hoping to scrapbook some of these photos later!!

Don't forget - my little shop at SugarHillco is open today!! Everything is 40% off for the week, and MissTiina has a fabulous free gift with your $5 purchase running as well!

your photos are gorgeous. I love the flowers in the paper. And that is poop about college. I really want to get away and buy flowers at a market!
