I recently posted about an app for my iphone that I've been using lots for daily photos. Honestly, it's point and shoot heaven.
On my previous post, I had someone ask about printing. Which is a great and totally valid question. What good are the photos if you can't get them off of your phone? Here's my answer. Of course this isn't an exhaustive list. But there are three ways to print that have lots of buzz at the moment. I have friends that have tried the services, and so far, so good. :)
1.) Print them at home. I've downloaded my photos from my phone to my computer, and using photoshop, dropped them all on to a single sheet, sized them the way I like {my current favorite has been 2.5"x2.5". That's what I used for my salt and sand layout and a mini album that will be posted to the American Crafts blog later this month.}Of course, you also need a good photo quality printer. So this isn't an option for everyone...
2.) Create a Blurb book. Blurb has been around for ages. They've always offered this great opportunity to self publish books of really high quality, and now they've dipped in to this market which, I'm sure, will be huge for them. The process looks to be really easy {and if you're tech savvy enough to be using instagram, well, um. Yeah.}A friend has ordered one and = love. You can find the info to get started here.
3.) Order prints using Postal Pix. It's an app that you can download directly to your phone. You just have to create an account through their app, select your photos directly from your phone and send in your order. They print 4"x4" for your instagram photos, and the price is pretty typical of what you'll find at a good quality printer. Worth a shot! A friend recently ordered, and I'm waiting to hear what she has to say - I'll let you know when I hear from her!
Hope these tips are helpful for getting those instagrams off of your phone and in to your home!!
Happy hump day! I'm super excited about the etsy shoppe update I'll be doing around about Friday! I'll be offering a new product, and I love, love love it!!
