a new challenge

Up at Noel Mignon Challenge blog! Amy picked out a stellar color combo for us from this fabulous site called Creature Comforts. Swoon. I could look around that site all day... Definitely a new fave...

Anyway, here's my take:

Had a bit of a hard time trying to find that lovely pink color in my stash, as, I tend to avoid pink for myself - and then otherwise am scrapbooking boys! HaHa! So I decided to stitch with pink thread, and just add a few accents to match using some yarn that I had lying around. My butterfly came out a bit chunky. LOL {I really do love this particular shade and have yarn around to make a scarf in that color for myself!}

Happy Friday loves! As I write this on Monday, I'm hoping the week brings good things for everyone. We have our car in the shop this week, so I'm spending the day working on a bit of deep cleaning and de-cluttering. Awesome to start the new year by getting rid of the unnecessary stuff around!
