American Crafts Blog Hop

Welcome to my stop in the American Crafts Blog hop! Happy St. Patrick's Day! Are you feeling lucky? I know I am! Lucky{yes, very, very blessed!} to have my family, friends and the opportunities that I have in life right now.

I had such a hard time choosing a favorite line this time around from American Crafts releases, that I sort of did the eeny, meeny, miney, moe - and pulled out the very fun Peachy Keen line! It's combination of slightly muted, but bright colors pulled me right in - and there's enough blue in there to be able to scrap about our boys without it feeling too girlie.

I had so much fun layering all of the fun circle embellishments that coordinate with this line!  By starting with a couple of scalloped circles that I cut with my diecutter, I created a good base or anchor for those smaller embellishments. Layering the scallop circles under the edge of my photo mat pulls them into my photos to draw more of the attention to the photos, instead of the embellishments.
