It was really good to take a couple of hours this morning to drop the hustle and bustle of life and do a bit of art journal style scrapbooking. As I've embraced imperfection more in life {you can read a bit about my perfectionist streak, and some lessons I've learned on my blog here}, it's led to a blossoming love of the imperfection of art journaling. I don't really think of myself as an art journaler in the strict sense, but then - is there a strict sense when it comes to art?
For a few tips on creating the watercolor like background, you can check in on my blog post on the JBS Inspiration blog.
All of the new products from Jenni are PERFECT for layering it up on your projects. ^_^ From the stencils and inks for backgrounds, to rubons, washi, and the new sequins - so fun.
And finish with a bit of doodling. I found some super fine sharpies while grabbing supplies at Walmart one day, and they have been perfect for projects and pages.
I can't believe that all of a sudden it's Thursday already. I was so busy wrapping up a big project yesterday that I completely forgot about blogging - So happy Thursday!
