Here's my other card:
My second theme was chic & modern. I think I like the balance that I was able to strike on this card. :) The texture from the stitching & paint, the smooth lines of the writing, and the little touches of silver in the flourishes on the bottom. (That's one of the things about modern architecture that just fascinates me. Striving to create a balance of elements. ie., the offset of fiber/texture to metal... and the list goes on :) )
I've started making a daily ATC card. Haven't decided how I'm going to display them, whether I should do it here, or create a separate blog. Another thought was to pick a day of the week and just post all of the cards from the week... Anyway, I'm really having fun with them. There's something about no pressure and a tiny space to fill that just get creative juices flowing. There are so many possibilities!
And. Um. It's freezing here. Tonight it's supposed to be the coldest it's been in 3 years. We're talkin' 30's here people. The farmers are all concerned about their crops and the possibility of frost. (For those of you unfamiliar with the growing season, it's about time for the winter orange harvest amongst many other things. bad news if you like oranges!)I really can't complain, though. If it's that cold here, well the rest of the country's gotta be just frigid.
Stay warm! :)
