Wow - has it been that long?

It surely feels like time keeps speeding up around here! So many things going on - school, work, housework, games with the boys, potty training... makes for busy weeks, I guess. Hard to believe it's really September already. Just a blink and the year will be gone. Wow.

Well, enough reflection! How about a brief catch up on a few things? I couldn't possibly tell everything, so I'll stick with a few. :)

On the digi front:
funkyplaygrounddesigns has revamped the site with a fresh new look - and we put together a fun colab for September that I contributed to! They're also running contests and fun stuff all week! 30% off everything in the shop. {Yes, that means my store is all on sale this week!}

I'm also very proud to be a part of a wonderful colab to support a very worthy cause. The profits from the My Big Adventure collaboration kit are going to the Autism Society of America.

Below you can see my portion that I contributed!

A couple of layouts from the girls using my portion:

and my layout using misstiina's portion:
Also released this teacher planner in my little shop this week:

Inspired by my need for something to organize myself as a homeschool mom, and wanting to have something cute, since it contains so much of my life. :) It makes it soooo much easier to look at every day. :P
** you can see this project in the upcoming "For the Home" Idea Book from Scrapbook Trends.**
And as for paper stuff:
Had fun playing at the Niche last Saturday evening with this girlie! I put together a couple of layouts. {Well, finished the second at home, where I could run the sewing machine. :)}

I've actually been pretty inspired since coming back from CHA summer. Even though it was a tiny show, I really enjoyed seeing the work of the various artists and design team members from the various manufacturers. Particularly this fabulous lady's stuff. I've long admired her work and last Saturday, she was sweet enough to answer a question I asked via her blog regarding her favorite inks. THANK YOU, DINA!! :) I grabbed some of the inks she suggested after work on Tuesday, and yes, I couldn't resist playing! I finally came up with what I've been looking for for quite a while...
**you can check this layout out in the upcoming 7th issue of Entre{ART}ist magazine.**
{Thanks for sticking with me this long!}
This is my take for Sasha's 1st challenge on her new challenge site, Point Blank Period. I broke out the BAM POP stamps I've been meaning to play with forever, and just played. {New inks and all} Journaled. Did something for me. And it made my heart happy. I still need to figure out what I need to do to upload for the challenge, but for now, I'm good.

And yeah. Keep your eyes open - I've got lots in the works behind the scenes! Now, back to the laundry folks. Yes, I lead a real life! Bwahahaha!
