spooky sweet

We love Halloween around here. There are so many fun things to do as a family around this holiday time of the year! The year we added to our holiday decor with this fun and spooky haunted house. The boys had sooo much fun putting it together one Saturday!

I love going with that distressed look for the autumn holidays. It just feels right. So the distressed couture and vintage love lines were a perfect fit!
I love, love how cheesecloth is a really simple way to add to that distressed feel of a layout. It's super easy to work with, too. I happen to buy this at Whole Foods while shopping one day, so it's unbleached - which gives it more of an aged look as well!

Supply list:
Glitz Designs Distressed Couture Papers: Block, Scroll
Glitz Designs Vintage Love Papers: Polka, Damask
Glitz Designs Black Flour di Lis Rubon

Glitz Designs Teeny Alpha Black Round
Other:
making memories trim
chipboard letters and shapes, orange cardstock: American Crafts

My other fave thing about holiday time? Sweets and treats of course! What could possibly say "autumn" better than a carmel apple?
