run like you mean it

Yeah. I'm one of those people. When I decide to do something. I really do it. There are VERY few things I've ever committed to in my adult life that I just let go. You know, one of those 110% kind of people...

This summer I've started back running. Years ago, I was a regular. But I let it fall by the wayside when schedule conflicts with having the kids came up. Then, at the beginning of this year, I told myself - you have to take time to take care of you. In order to be the best mommy to our boys, the best wife, the best you - you need to take care of yourself.

Sometimes, as givers we forget that it's not selfish to take care of ourselves. 

When we are our best selves, we are able to give our best to others.

Anyway, back to the running! I mentioned in this post that I was going to be starting the couch to 5k program. I. Am. Loving. It. I feel so good. Between switching to a vegetarian lifestyle and running, I have so much energy. And I feel happy. And healthy.
